All in the mind I live with my desire
For poetry refined by intellectual fire.
What’s written there reveals to me
The sum of Man’s humanity.
In the shame to which our lives can fall
Love must be supreme since it exists at all.

All in the mind,
I live with my desires
For the love of woman kind,
The vision she inspires:
For fantasy, for promised land,
For Ella.
