The rap, the rock, the night-time ballyhoo!

And shows from classical to loony fringe!                              

And Fridays all we ever do is binge,                                    

And try to educate the frogs inside our heads.

Renowned, supercool,

Round another corner                                            

Another dawn, 

A new life waits in Liverpool.

Me social passport ev’rywhere I go

Is labels clothing me from head to toe.

Me selfhood’s modelled by advertisement

Without Boateng, I’d be irrelevant.

Sell me something or I’ll lose my identity.
